This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term position with a growing manufacturing operation. This position is primarily focused on inventory accounting and ERP transactions rather than physical warehouse labor. The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing stock movements, inventory adjustments, receiving transactions, and cycle counts within the company's ERP system. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers, has strong computer skills, understands how inventory transactions affect manufacturing operations, and enjoys researching and resolving inventory discrepancies. Responsibilities Process inventory transactions within the company's ERP/MRP system , including receiving, cycle counts, stock movements, and inventory adjustments. Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system. Research and investigate inventory transactions and discrepancies. Apply physical inventory counts and production activity to the ERP system. Determine appropriate inventory movements and adjustments. Assist with cycle counting, receiving, and inventory-control activities . Research discrepancies between physical inventory and system inventory. Identify recurring inventory errors involving raw materials and finished goods. Provide suggestions for improving inventory accuracy and reducing recurring errors. Compile and analyze inventory information to assist with decision-making. Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Production, and other departments. Support continuous-improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and processes. Required Qualifications 3+ years of ERP, MRP, inventory accounting, or related experience within a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with an ERP/MRP system . Strong computer and data-entry skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office . Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to research discrepancies and determine the cause of inventory issues. Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
