Epic Branding Solutions is a family-owned wide-format shop in Tempe producing banners, vehicle wraps, trade show displays, rigid signage, and custom graphics for Phoenix-area businesses. We run production on a Canon Colorado M5, Canon Arizona 2360 flatbed, and Colex SXC3216 flatbed cutter. We need an experienced operator (or operators) who can run that equipment to a high standard without constant supervision. What you'll do Set up, operate, and monitor the Canon Colorado M5 (UVgel roll-to-roll), Arizona 2360 UV flatbed, and Colex SXC3216 digital flatbed cutter RIP jobs in Onyx and Caldera — profiles, media presets, nesting, cut paths, and color-managed output Read job tickets, check file specs, media, size, and finishing before you print or cut Load and unload rigid boards and roll media; manage vacuum, registration, and tool settings on the cutter Inspect color, registration, adhesion, and cut quality; catch problems before they leave the table Perform daily cleaning, basic maintenance, and first-line troubleshooting Track media and ink usage and keep the production floor organized and safe Work with the rest of production to hit deadlines without sacrificing quality Must-haves Hands-on experience operating wide-format printers and/or digital flatbed cutters — this is not a training role Working experience with Onyx and Caldera RIP software Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work Ability to read job tickets, follow specs, and catch file or media issues early Comfortable standing most of the shift and lifting/moving boards and rolls (typically 40-70 lbs) Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently in a small, deadline-driven shop Strong pluses Direct time on Canon Colorado and/or Arizona series printers Digital cutter experience (Colex, Zünd, Kongsberg, or similar) including oscillating knife, drag knife, and routing Color management, ICC profiles, and substrate knowledge (vinyl, banner, rigid boards, fabrics)
