About Farwest Corrosion Control Farwest Corrosion Control is an industry leader in providing innovative corrosion control solutions. With a strong focus on excellence and precision, we are seeking a skilled Production Laborer to support and enhance our manufacturing operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor equipment, ensuring proper start-up and shutdown procedures during designated shifts. Actively participate in all stages of the production line, ensuring efficiency and quality. Sort, separate, and prepare materials for loading onto the production line. Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies. Accurately measure and pour ingredients as required. Remove waste materials from machines to maintain a clean and safe workspace. Cut and spool wire, run wire through anodes, and manage wire-handling tasks. Ensure all loaded items comply with company protocols and safety regulations. Identify and remove damaged or faulty products from the production line. Immediately report any equipment or tool malfunctions to the appropriate personnel. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the production area at the end of each shift. Properly store finished products before packaging. Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of finished goods.
Day-to-Day Duties:
Perform various types of welding, including resistance soldering, spot welding, and plier resistance welding. Conduct grinding, torch work, and heat shrink tubing applications. Handle materials and operate packaging machinery. Assist in manufacturing tasks, up to and including assembling ornamental cabinets that power products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs . Comfortable standing for long periods. High School Diploma or GED. Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Preferred:
Manufacturing experience, particularly in sheet metal work and fabrication.

Schedule:
