Picture Frame Production Operations (50+ encouraged)

Compensation:

DOE Picture Framing Company is looking for a safety-minded Production Saw Operator in our manufacturing and distribution facility in Hayward, Ca . The ideal candidate is a team player with high attention to detail. Offering training into position for similar skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the execution of custom cut orders that come through our warehouse.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and uphold the safety and quality standards.
• Run operational equipment for production to meet scheduled requirements and customer orders.
• Follow all operational procedures as directed when handling finished products and raw materials.
• Conduct quality checks.

ACTIVITIES/DUTIES

• Complete individual orders on a tablet to their correct specifications.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas to company expectations.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Be able to work under loose but present supervision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment standing on your feet for 8 hours a day. Education/Training Required
• 1-2 years of production experience is preferred, but if you have a background in picture framing or carpentry experience, we will train you how to operate a saw.

-This Position reports directly to the Floor Lead and Warehouse Manager.
