Job Description Tube Bender 1st Shift Full-Time MDC Precision is a world leader in delivering high-quality products to the research, semiconductor, aerospace, life sciences, and food processing sectors. Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma. 2-3 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Previous experience operating a Di-Acro manual bender is preferred. Ability to set up and operate a manual tube bender. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Understanding of basic GD&T principles. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as multiplication and trigonometry as fabrication requires. Ability to work with team members and take direction from the supervisor. Ability to focus attention on details.
Functions & Responsibilities:
Independently set up and operate manual and/CNC tubing benders to produce high purity gas lines per engineering drawing specifications. Interpret engineering drawings and set up the bender with the required tooling. Operated a Di-Acro manual tube bender. Use measuring tools such as calipers and height gauges to inspect parts to the required dimensions and tolerances. Collaborates with engineers, production personnel, programmers, maintenance, or others to resolve fabrication issues. May provide training to other team members. Performs other duties as assigned.
