Company Overview Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview The Receiving Production Control Associate plays a key role in managing, reconciling, and routing inbound parcel and freight shipments, processing purchase order receipts in the ERP system, and ensuring seamless controlled inventory movement. This position collaborates closely with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Inventory teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain build schedules, and guide team members on industry best practices while ensuring all receiving tasks are completed by EOM. Responsibilities Process purchase order receipts in the company ERP and communicate discrepancies to Purchasing and Quality teams Problem solve issues that arise, and identify solutions Work closely with planning team to ensure expedited parts are processed to meet build schedule Train new associates, as well as existing associates on new processes Receive, reconcile, and properly route inbound parcel and freight shipments Unpack and inspect items for defects or damage Work closely with Inventory and Quality Assurance teams to efficiently move controlled inventory to the warehouse Interact daily with employees from many different departments adhering to high standards of customer service Advise and guide other receiving associates on industry best practices Ensure all receiving is completed by EOM Required Minimum 3-5 years of shipping/receiving experience High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification Strong collaborative work ethic and attention to detail Proven track record of developing relationships across multiple departments Desired Bachelor's degree in a business-related field Experience with ERP/Inventory management software tools Strong understanding of the full Supply Chain Model and how it affects business operations Physical ability and stamina to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally Basic business office skills and proficiency Knowledge of and strict adherence to safety protocols Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $28-$36/hr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
