Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Quality assurance standard operating procedures Operating textile machinery Manufacturing Preventive machine maintenance Full Job Description Description The Machine Technician Sewing is responsible for processing fabric and foam into finished mops, sponges, wipes and specialized slip covers. The machine technician is comfortable working independently or as part of a team and has an understanding of the different assembly and sewing steps that go into the sewn finished good stock. Productive worker with solid work ethic in successfully completing tasks by being dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures and policies. Maintain assigned machine with attention to set up and line clearance per shift, per work order Work with Supervisor and Facilities Manager to correctly maintain and log machine activity Process raw and pre-processed material into finished mops and sponges Maintain a clean and organized process flow General understanding of all part numbers processed through sewing area Informed understanding of GSS system with regard to logging into shifts and work orders with accuracy Work with Sewing Supervisor - To review daily tasks To efficiently track product per batch/work order To inform of any anomalies in processing of product relating to: Machines Maintenance Raw material Adhere to following the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with
ISO 9001
standards

Qualifications Minimal Qualifications include:
Sewing experience General understanding of basic maintenance and use of individual sewing machine Work with attention to detail and safety standards Hard-working and committed to achieving excellence Eager to meet challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts Good communication -ability to listen, write, and speak effectively Team player who can build trusting relationships with co-workers Adhere to following the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with
ISO 9001
standards Show ownership to maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with
ISO 9001
standards Preferred Qualifications include: Experience in manufacturing Working Conditions Ability to do repetitive work, requiring strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination Lifting Requirements Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. Physical and Ergonomic Requirements Ability to sit for long periods of time Reports to
