3010169103-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cargill seeks an Operator I to support safe, efficient production in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll operate and monitor equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and complete quality checks to meet food safety and production standards. You'll follow strict safety, sanitation, and LOTO procedures while handling materials, documenting data, and assisting with changeovers and cleaning. Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently Perform basic mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain production flow Conduct routine quality checks and record production data accurately Follow all safety, LOTO, and food safety procedures and report hazards or incidents Assist with start-ups, shutdowns, and product changeovers Handle raw materials and finished products, including staging and basic inventory checks Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Communicate equipment or process issues promptly to maintenance or leadership Participate in ongoing training to improve operational and safety performance Required Skills Manufacturing equipment operation Basic mechanical troubleshooting Quality control inspections Safety and OSHA compliance Lockout/Tagout procedures Reading production documentation Basic computer skills/HMI use Sanitation and cleaning procedures Material handling and forklift use Data and production record entry
