Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production / Manufacturing Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, follows procedures with precision, takes pride in producing quality work, and actively contributes to continuous improvement and workplace safety. As a Production / Manufacturing Technician, you will support manufacturing operations through equipment operation, material handling, process monitoring, quality inspections, production documentation, inventory support, and routine maintenance activities. Key Responsabilities Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with established procedures, work instructions, batch records, and production schedules. Perform production activities such as material handling, processing, blending, inspection, filling, packaging, and related manufacturing operations. Manufacture products in compliance with specifications, quality requirements, and production standards. Accurately complete production records, logs, and manufacturing documentation. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe, efficient, consistent, and compliant operations. Equipment Operation & Process Monitoring Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and systems to support production objectives. Read gauges, instruments, and measuring devices accurately while recording operational results. Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Troubleshoot routine production and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow. Assist with routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and repairs as needed. Quality & Compliance Ensure products consistently meet quality standards and manufacturing specifications. Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies. Identify and report quality concerns, process deviations, or operational issues. Support quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Inventory & Documentation Maintain accurate production, maintenance, quality, and inventory records using manufacturing and business systems. Support inventory management activities, including monitoring material levels and coordinating replenishment needs. Utilize computers, tablets, and mobile devices to enter and maintain operational data. Safety & Team Collaboration Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, behaviors, and equipment concerns. Participate in safety observations, incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and workplace safety programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. Participate in cross-training initiatives and provide support to team members as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment when trained and authorized. Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders, platforms, lifts, and approved access equipment when required. Ability to work safely around machinery, manufacturing equipment, chemicals, and moving mechanical components. Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, face shields, hard hats, and protective footwear as required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
