You'll find our products at Whole Foods across the Rocky Mountain Region, farmers markets around Denver, and specialty shops nationwide. We're a small, growing team looking for someone dependable, capable, and detail-oriented to help us keep up with demand. The Role As a production assistant, you will be working alongside our two team members to prepare ingredients, cook the product, and fill the jars. Think of this team as three well oiled human machines. This isn't restaurant service — no tickets, customers, or dinner rush — but production days move quickly. Everyone is expected to stay organized, keep things clean, anticipate what comes next, and jump in where needed. This is a physical role, including repetitive stirring of our paste while it cooks in the kettle. What You'll Do Prep, wash, and roast peppers; assist with cooking, blending, mixing, and stirring batches; fill and cap jars; label, package, and case finished products Closely follow batch sheets and production procedures Set up, break down, wash, and sanitize equipment and work areas Help keep the kitchen clean and organized Work closely with our production lead and fellow assistant Stay a few steps ahead and help keep production moving What We're Looking For Experience in a commercial kitchen, food production, catering, deli, commissary, or CPG environment preferred, Detail-oriented and eager to learn Proactive - able to see and prep a few steps ahead Reliable and communicative Respectful, kind, and team-oriented Comfortable with physical work and cleaning Serious about sanitation and food safety Physical Requirements You should be comfortable: Standing throughout a shift Safely lifting and moving 50 lbs, including stirring the kettle Working around hot equipment, steam, and heated product Working directly with chili peppers and spicy ingredients Performing repetitive production and packaging tasks

Pay:
