Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for ensuring in progress and completed orders meet Superior Ink's quality standards before they leave the facility. This role inspects finished garments and prints for accuracy, consistency, cleanliness, and overall presentation, while completing final finishing tasks such as folding, bagging, tagging, labeling, and packing. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products on time. Duties End of dryer QC inspection Inspect finished garments for print quality, placement, registration, color, and overall appearance. Identify defects, inconsistencies, stains, or production errors before orders are packed. Compare completed orders against work orders and approved artwork/specifications. Perform finishing services including folding, bagging, tagging, labeling, and banding. Ensure garments are sorted accurately by style, size, color, and quantity. Rework or flag defective garments as needed and communicate issues to the appropriate production team. Prepare completed orders for shipment and ensure packaging is neat, accurate, and complete. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient QC/finishing area. Follow Superior Ink quality standards and production procedures. Help ensure every order meets the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in quality control, garment finishing, screen printing, embroidery, apparel production, or a similar manufacturing environment. Experience inspecting finished products for print quality, consistency, placement, and defects. Familiarity with folding, bagging, tagging, labeling, sorting, and preparing garments for shipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small inconsistencies or production issues. Experience working from work orders, production specifications, or customer requirements. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards. Reliable, organized, and able to manage repetitive tasks with consistency. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production and other team members. Experience with apparel or screen-printing production is preferred but not required. Must posses basic math skills Must posses basic computer skills Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to understand work orders, production instructions, safety procedures, quality standards, and communicate with team members.
