  • Musical Instruments Native Tongue Percussion is a Pueblo West-based musical instrument company designing and producing innovative percussion products.
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our growing company in a full-time production and operations role. This position will begin with direct involvement in assembly, inventory, quality control, packaging, shipping, and day-to-day production activities. As the company grows, the role is intended to expand into greater responsibility for production planning, inventory management, purchasing, supplier coordination, workflow improvement, training, and eventually production/operations management. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn a small manufacturing business from the ground up and grow with the company. Responsibilities Assemble and inspect percussion products and components Maintain accurate inventory of parts, finished goods, and packaging materials Pick, pack, and prepare customer and distributor orders for shipment Receive and organize incoming materials and components Assist with production scheduling and workflow Maintain quality standards and identify production issues Help improve assembly methods, workstations, and operating procedures Assist with purchasing, reordering, and supplier coordination as experience grows Support 3D-printed and other manufactured component production Maintain an organized and efficient production/work area Take on additional operational responsibilities as the company expands Qualifications Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on assembly Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Able to work independently after training Comfortable performing both production-floor and administrative/organizational tasks Basic computer skills Ability and interest in learning multiple areas of a small manufacturing business Bachelor's degree preferred, particularly in business, operations, engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field Relevant hands-on experience may substitute for formal education Experience as a drummer or percussionist, or a strong interest in drums and percussion, would be a plus but is not required What we are looking for We are especially interested in someone who wants more than a short-term assembly job. The right person will be willing to learn the products and production processes firsthand and gradually assume greater responsibility as Native Tongue Percussion grows. An interest in music and musical instruments is helpful, and a drummer or percussionist would be especially well suited to understanding the products, but musical experience is not required.
