We're seeking a Production Specialist who's ready to take on the challenge of leading our production floor and driving results.
Job Summary:
As a Production Specialist, you'll manage daily operations on the production floor. You'll oversee a team of operators and technicians, ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. Your hands-on leadership will keep things running smoothly — from scheduling and training to troubleshooting and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet standards and deadlines Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed Track attendance, approve timecards, and participate in performance reviews Lead daily shift meetings, communicate goals, and report on key metrics Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas for greater efficiency Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date (logs, reports, etc.)
Qualifications Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a diverse team Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions under pressure Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP systems) Share job details to
