$18.50 per Hour We are currently hiring dependable, hardworking Bi-Lingual Production Workers to join a busy food production facility in New Haven, CT. This is a cross-trained production role where employees will learn multiple areas of the operation and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$18.50 per hour
Available Shifts:
1st Shift Monday-Friday Start time between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, depending on production needs 2nd Shift Monday-Friday Start time between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM Work until the end of the production shift (typically between 10:00 PM and Midnight) Job Responsibilities Train and work in multiple departments throughout the sausage production facility Grind meat and operate production equipment used in the sausage-making process Package, label, and prepare finished sausage products for shipment Perform production line duties while maintaining quality and efficiency Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and food safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Follow all food safety, GMP, and company safety procedures Assist with other production duties as needed Requirements Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or food production experience is required Previous forklift experience is required Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated production environment throughout the shift Must be comfortable handling raw meat and sausage products Must wear non-slip, hard-toe work shoes or boots Ability to stand for the entire shift, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and reliable transportation are required The JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
