This role ensures clients receive accurate, complete, and timely collection kits while maintaining inventory accuracy, managing replenishment activities, coordinating shipping logistics, and supporting operational excellence across the laboratory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Kit Production & Fulfillment Assemble clinical specimen collection kits according to approved work instructions and quality standards. Verify kit accuracy, completeness, labeling, and packaging prior to shipment. Maintain production schedules to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and workflow. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory levels for all kit components, laboratory supplies, and shipping materials. Monitor inventory usage and notify management of replenishment needs. Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories. Ensure proper storage and organization of production materials. Order Processing & Shipping Process kit orders using the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and internal order management systems. Prepare outbound shipments utilizing FedEx, UPS, and other approved shipping platforms. Verify shipping documentation and maintain shipment tracking records. Coordinate expedited shipments and resolve shipping issues as necessary. Auto-Replenishment Program Manage Precipio's customer auto-replenishment program. Monitor customer inventory levels and scheduled replenishment cycles. Ensure recurring client orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule. Communicate with Customer Service regarding replenishment requests, changes, and exceptions. Quality & Compliance Inspect finished kits to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Maintain production documentation and inventory records. Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company policies. Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance quality and operational efficiency. Customer Support Serve as a professional point of contact regarding kit orders and shipment inquiries. Partner with Customer Service, Sales, and Laboratory Operations to resolve order issues. Provide timely communication regarding shipment status and order fulfillment. Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Additional Responsibilities Support special production projects and new product launches. Assist with warehouse organization and inventory optimization. Participate in cross-training activities across Laboratory Support Operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred:
Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in production, inventory management, shipping, warehouse operations, laboratory support, or healthcare operations.
Preferred:
Experience working in a clinical laboratory, biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environment. Experience with specimen collection kits or medical products. Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or comparable shipping software. Experience using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), ERP systems, or order management software preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform routine warehouse and productiona ctivities.
