Manufacturing Position Overview We are seeking reliable Production Associates to support manufacturing operations in Norwich, CT. Both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are currently available. This position involves operating production equipment, inspecting products for quality, packaging and labeling finished goods, and maintaining accurate production records. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures Assemble, package, and label finished products Complete required production records and documentation accurately Perform inspections and quality checks on finished and in-process products Inspect products for dimensional and cosmetic defects Complete rework on products that do not meet specifications Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance as needed Follow work instructions and established production procedures Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed Identify potential quality or production issues and communicate them to leadership Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Participate in continuous improvement and waste-reduction initiatives Follow all company safety procedures Work overtime as needed Perform additional production duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred Basic mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills Experience using scales preferred Strong attention to detail Dependable and willing to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to walk throughout a manufacturing facility Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling and grasping materials Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including color and close-vision checks Comfortable working around moving machinery, lubricants, and cleaning supplies Full-time opportunities are available on both 1st and 2nd shift.
Pay Details:
