General Production Worker

Description We are currently hiring material handlers and machine operators on 2nd and 3rd shift. Looking for candidates with previous warehouse and forklift experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. This is a great opportunity with lots of room for growth Responsibilities Inspect material for physical damage or defects prior to packaging. Select appropriate packaging materials to protect material from being damaged in transit. Construct skids, boxes, crates, and pallets. Measure materials using tape measure and other measuring devices. Operate banding and nail guns. Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Scan and stage orders in appropriate shipping and loading zones. Monitor linear footage on wood used to package export orders. Perform additional warehouse duties as directed by supervisor. Shift 2nd shift is 1:30pm

• 10:00 PM Monday
• Friday 3rd shift is 9:30 pm
• 6:00 AM Sunday
• Thursday Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southington, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.36
• $25.59/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
