Full machine setup, CAD/CAM, and CNC programming are not required. Current Equipment Focus Areas We are currently recruiting candidates with experience in any of the following machine categories:
Operating high-speed mechanical equipment (requires mechanical aptitude; not CNC or CAD/CAM).
Multi-Spindle Screw Machines:
Operating mechanical multi-spindle equipment (e.g., Davenport, Acme-Gridley). Key Responsibilities Load raw materials/bar stock and unload finished components safely. Run established production jobs following standard safety and operational procedures. Conduct regular in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and go/no-go gauges). Identify and report out-of-tolerance parts or visual defects immediately. Maintain accurate daily production logs.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Prior experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing, machine shop, or metalworking environment.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read basic blueprints and comfortably use precision measuring tools (calipers and micrometers).
Shift Availability:
Must be fully committed to transitioning permanently to a 2nd or 3rd Shift position following initial training on 1st Shift.
Reliability:
Excellent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to a professional work environment.
Screening:
Ability to successfully pass a standard drug screen and background check. Ability to adhere to a strict no-personal-phone policy on the production floor.
