About the Position Iron Oaks Customs is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our growing production team. This is not a single-machine operator position. Our Production Specialists are cross-trained throughout our production operation. Your initial focus will be learning our commercial DTF printing operation, followed by opportunities to develop skills in custom apparel production, heat pressing, laser engraving, UV printing, patch production, finishing, and other production processes. Previous printing experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable with computers and equipment, pays attention to detail, takes pride in quality work, and wants to learn. What You'll Do Depending on your training and the needs of the production floor, responsibilities include: Operate commercial DTF printing and curing equipment Use computers, production software, RIP software, and machine interfaces to prepare and process jobs Review customer orders, artwork, quantities, and production requirements Monitor print and product quality throughout production Identify and communicate potential problems before they become production errors Heat press and finish custom apparel Learn to operate laser engraving and UV printing equipment Assist with patch and specialty-product production Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance Troubleshoot basic production and equipment issues Stage, finish, inspect, and package customer orders Restock materials and production supplies Maintain clean, organized, and safe equipment and work areas Assist other production areas when your primary work is caught up Everyone on our production team shares responsibility for getting quality work out the door. That includes operating equipment, helping teammates, maintaining machines, cleaning work areas, restocking supplies, taking out trash, and handling the everyday work necessary to keep a professional production operation running. Who We're Looking For The strongest candidates will be: Dependable and punctual Comfortable using computers and learning new software Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning production equipment Detail-oriented and quality-conscious Able to follow established processes and instructions Willing to learn multiple production processes Able to work independently once trained Willing to step in and help wherever production needs support Able to recognize problems, communicate them, and take ownership of finding a solution Interested in developing additional skills and responsibilities over time Experience with DTF printing, screen printing, apparel decoration, commercial printing, laser engraving, UV printing, sign production, manufacturing, or similar production work is beneficial but not required . We are willing to train the right person. Pay & Development Pay range: $18.00-$22.00 per hour , based on relevant experience and qualifications. All new Production Specialists begin within Iron Oaks' initial qualification level, regardless of previous job title or experience. Relevant experience may influence starting pay, but advancement is based on demonstrated performance at Iron Oaks. We believe increased capability should create increased opportunity.
