Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Seamstress, Tailor, and Pattern Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments and upholstery pieces by expertly sewing, cutting, and assembling fabric materials. Your expertise in pattern making will ensure precise fit and design consistency across all products. You will play a vital role in maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring each piece meets our specifications and customer expectations. Duties Measure fabric and materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and dimensions for each project Cut fabric manually with precision, following detailed patterns and specifications to minimize waste and maximize efficiency Construct garments and upholstery items by sewing fabric pieces together using industrial sewing machines, sergers, and standard sewing machines Develop and modify patterns based on design requirements or client specifications, ensuring proper seam construction and garment fit Operate various machinery including sewing machines, embroidery machines, sergers, and fabric handling equipment while adhering to safety standards in production Inspect finished products against quality standards in production, checking for proper stitching, seam construction, measurements, and overall craftsmanship Handle materials carefully during manufacturing processes to prevent damage or defects while maintaining safety standards in the workspace Experience Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or pattern maker with a strong portfolio of completed projects Familiarity with measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, calipers, and pattern drafting tools Knowledge of quality standards in garment production and upholstery manufacturing processes Skilled in garment sewing, manual cutting (fabric cutting), seam construction, embroidery, and sewing machine operation including industrial sewing machines and sergers Understanding of fabric materials including textiles used in upholstery and fashion garments Experience working with various materials handling techniques within a manufacturing or warehouse environment Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns accurately and modify designs as needed Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to creating beautiful, high-quality garments and upholstery pieces. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
