Boat Canvas Pattern Maker American Marine is one of South Florida's premier marine upholstery and canvas companies, specializing in luxury boats and yachts. We are looking for an experienced Marine Pattern Maker to join our growing team. If you know how to create accurate patterns for marine upholstery, covers, enclosures, or other marine canvas products, we'll teach you everything else—including industry-leading digital pattern-making software such as Rhino 3D and ExactFlat . No CAD experience is required. We will provide the training. Responsibilities Create accurate patterns for boat covers, enclosures, and other custom marine products. Work from existing cushions, frames, and components to develop production-ready patterns. Use traditional pattern paper (or Proliner, if experienced). Learn digital pattern making using Rhino 3D and ExactFlat. Collaborate with production teams to ensure an excellent fit and finish. Maintain organized pattern files and documentation. Requirements Experience making patterns for boats and yachts is required. Experience with marine upholstery, canvas, or enclosures. Comfortable using traditional pattern paper. Proliner experience is a plus, but not required. CAD experience is NOT required—we will train the right candidate. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. English and/or Spanish. Valid U.S. work authorization.
