Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, the worker is responsible for physically moving work from workstation to workstation and within the production area. The worker maintains a proper supply of work and a balanced workflow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Moves work in process from workstation to workstation
  • Supplies enough work components and materials to each workstation
  • Procures necessary supplies and components from stock and is responsible for ensuring that they are distributed
  • Ensures that each operator always has an adequate amount of work and that no operation experiences downtime due to lack of work
  • Although this position is not an "assistant supervisor," it is the logical person called upon to fill in when the production supervisor is unavailable for short periods during the workday (i.e., breaks, meetings, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
  • No formal education is required; however, basic mathematics, reading, and writing skills are required.
  • At least six (6) months of related experience or training.
Language Skills:
