Job Summary The Production Specialist in the Metal Shop is responsible for manufacturing and assembling metal products, including doors, frames, and hardware. This role involves operating metalworking machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the production team. Duties/Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Operate metalworking machinery and tools to manufacture and assemble metal products. Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and goals. Inspect and verify the quality of finished products. Perform routine maintenance on metalworking machinery and tools. Other Duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Previous experience in metalworking or a related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications. Ability to operate metalworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work area. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Supervisory Responsibilities None Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and working with machinery. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
