What You'll Do:
Assembling instructions will be followed per the print. Epoxy application may be required per the print. Always follow instructions and PPE requirements. Wind wire with the appropriate number of turns according to customer specifications. Present parts to QC for pretest before varnishing, if required per the instructions Assemble transformers according to manufacturing instructions. Some assemblies require testing in line as needed per the instructions. All other duties as assigned by the production manager. All varnish and any other chemical applications must follow Standex PPE protocols.What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience with wire winding, coil winding, transformer assembly, or a closely related manufacturing environment. Able to work under a microscope Sitting for 8 hours a day Wants knowledge of soldering (for higher end of rate)- but will take strong entry level candidates for lower end of the range (Jewelry makes, Nail Techs, Watch repair, sewers, people good with their hands) Monday
- Friday
- 1st shift (start around 730-8AM)

What Sets You Apart:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Minimum of 2 years speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish and English. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work without close supervision. Organized and detail-oriented. Able to work under a microscope. Wants knowledge of soldering (for the higher end of the rate)- but will take good entry-level candidates for the lower end of the range (Jewelry makes, Nail Techs, Watch repair, sewers, people good with their hands).
Additional Information:
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check. It can be a loud environment. Earplugs are provided. Safety glasses and closed-toe shoes must always be worn on the production floor. Long hair must be tied up due to the risk of entanglement in winding machines. Work is performed in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment.
