GENERAL PURPOSE
Machine operator maintains the machinery necessary to perform a specialized task. Additionally, the operator must have an understanding of regulations to safely and efficiently operate the machinery. Machine operators may also keep records on the documentation to create a finished product that meets its predetermined quality attributes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrange machine at the beginning of work procedures to ensure that everything is in order Experienced in Encapsulation/Blending/Tablets Test the machine before main work begins to be sure that it's in good condition for production Clean up machine parts for every work procedure Set all machine operation information such as speed, size, and shape into the machine before it begins running Test the operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running Troubleshoot machine problems to determine actual faults Strictly adhere to BPR and ensure good quality work Report to manager/ supervisor(s) regularly, keeping them updated on production activities and progress Lift up to 55lbs using drums of raw material to put in hopper. All other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in cGMP environment Pharmaceuticals, Dietary Supplements, Cosmetics, Medical Devices Minimum 2 years of experience as a
Machine Operator Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Commitment to excellence and high standards Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and complete paperwork Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with changing priorities with enthusiasm Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to understand and follow any safety requirements and cautions Routine use of measurement devices, balances, and others as trained Functional math skills (Calculations, Rounding numbers, percentages, etc.) Work independently as well as in team environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and good communication skills
Certification or License:

Pay:
