Job Overview Boutique specialty print shop in West Palm Beach is seeking a Head Pressman / Letterpress Operator to join our small, highly specialized team. We create beautifully crafted wedding invitations, event stationery, personal and business stationery, specialty business cards and tags, custom folders, envelopes, and other bespoke paper goods. We are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and has an exceptional eye for detail, color, registration, and quality. 5+ years of experience in a modern letterpress or specialty print environment is preferred , particularly experience with Heidelberg Windmills. However, we are willing to train a motivated candidate with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, artistic sensibility, and a genuine interest in the craft. This is a hands-on position in a small, owner-operated shop. Our work is highly customized and we strive to exceed our clients expectations. Compensation is based on experience and demonstrated skill. Duties Letterpress Printing with Heidelberg Windmill and Cylinder Foil Stamping on Windmill and Kluge Prep and Finish Cutting on Polar 92 Die-cutting / Scoring Paper duplexing Digital Printing support Inventory management Workflow/Systems management and improvements Daily organization of work areas We're Looking For 5+ years of relevant print/letterpress experience preferred Heidelberg windmill experience strongly preferred Exceptional attention to detail and quality Strong eye for color and craftsmanship Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity Reliable, organized, and able to work independently Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work overtime during busy seasons
