Job Description

Required Education:
  • NonePreferred Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 1+ year of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficient with personal computers and basic keyboarding
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present information effectively to supervisors, management, and coworkers
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to use sound judgment and common sense when following written or verbal instructions
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Ability to operate various types of material-handling equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing warehouse environment
Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve and control components required for production and kitting operations
  • Utilize work orders to complete monthly production schedule requirements issued by Bard Access
  • Pull components as needed to complete production orders
  • Coordinate manufacturing startup activities for production runs on the production floor
  • Move released production runs to the finished goods warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in component storage areas
  • Pull, prepare, and send component shipments to other facilities
  • Return production floor restock materials to designated component storage areas
  • Perform daily clerical functions, including production tracking and maintaining production records
  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of production operators
  • Attend required training sessions
  • Assist with training production operators as directed
  • Operate material-handling equipment as required
  • Maintain accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail in all production and inventory activities
  • Follow applicable warehouse, manufacturing, safety, and operational procedures
