Job Description

Overview We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Shop Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a manufacturing setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision manufacturing and quality craftsmanship. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge, preferred experience with fabrication tools, and the ability to interpret technical drawings to produce quality sheet metal components.
Standard schedule:
Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm with some Friday's as needed. Duties Operate brake presses, fiber/coax lasers, spot welders, and other metal fabrication machinery and tools. Use hand tools, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement verification. Perform fabrication tasks as required for sheet metal projects. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and cranes safely to move raw materials and finished products. Maintain machine tooling, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure optimal operation. Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately for fabrication and assembly processes. Ensure adherence to safety standards during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment. Experience No experience is required to apply.
