Production Associates may work in cutting, carpentry, assembly, or packaging based on experience and production needs. Responsibilities
- Build wooden crates, pallets, corrugated boxes, and protective packaging.
- Cut lumber, plywood, foam, and other materials to size.
- Read job orders, drawings, cut sheets, and packaging instructions.
- Measure materials and inspect finished products for quality.
- Safely operate table saws, panel saws, Tiger Saws, drills, nail guns, air tools, and packaging equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications
- Manufacturing, carpentry, woodworking, construction, or packaging experience is preferred.
- Experience with saws, drills, nail guns, or air tools is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic math.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and regularly lift 40-50 pounds. Some assignments may require moving up to 100 pounds with approved assistance or equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe safety shoes.
