Leading the World with Innovative Healthcare Solutions that Enhance Lives Summary (Major Purpose of the Role): The Production Associate is a responsible team member that will accurately perform all production tasks assigned and trained to complete. These duties will be done by completing work orders in an efficient and timely manner. These products are critical to the lives of our customers, and you ll be a part of the team by driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, and Service. Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Pay is $18.00 an hour.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
Complete production reworks/ repackaging and associated actions as instructed. Re-label and Re-box product to be returned to stock. Processes information for work orders in SAP system. Help to maintain production supplies and equipment (tools, boxes, bags, tape, etc.). Maintain clean and safe work area. Operate lifts/ fork trucks. Process work orders using SAP. Perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to follow written and verbal direction.
Education and Experience:
H. S. Diploma or equivalent. Read and speak English. Basic mechanical skills & hand tools experience. Basic computer skills, eg. PC, labeling software, MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), RF scanners. SAP or Warehouse Management System experience. Experienced in use of material handling equipment, e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Your Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and lifting up to 50 lbs Performs activities in a warehouse environment. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.
