Responsibilities Set up and operate molding presses to produce basic rubber and metal-rubber bonded parts according to verbal instructions and process sheets. Assist in the setup of molds on various occasions, ensuring correct installation and alignment. Locate and retrieve materials and inserts, following proper procedures for signing out preform trays and using inserts in order of oldest paint date first. Monitor molding presses for proper time, temperature, and pressure, and adjust as needed to maintain consistent production quality. Become knowledgeable about critical areas of parts for all assigned jobs to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Complete time sheets, SPC charts, and process sheets in an accurate, legible, and timely manner. Notify the trainer or immediate supervisor of any perceived problems, faulty equipment, defective materials, or unusual operating conditions. Use pry bars, measuring gauges, and basic hand tools safely and effectively during daily operations. Lift and move materials and molded parts weighing up to approximately 40 pounds as part of routine tasks. Carry molded parts to designated staging areas for subsequent operations, maintaining proper workflow. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly manner to support safety and efficiency. Follow all prescribed safety rules and company regulations at all times. Perform other production-related duties as required and directed to support team and departmental goals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Langhorne, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
