Job description The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Machinery & Equipment:
Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment according to safety and quality standards. Perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting of machines.
Production & Assembly:
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules. Assemble, package, or inspect products to ensure they meet company specifications.
Quality Control:
Monitor product quality throughout production. Report defects or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately record production data, downtime, and material usage. Communicate issues and improvement suggestions to the team.
Profile Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read and follow work instructions. Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for long periods. Offer Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment. Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
