Production Worker

• Norwalk Job Description We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors.

All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility. Responsibilities Operate vinyl casement, ND classic, and ND production machines during 1st shift. Participate in the assembly and packaging of windows and patio doors. Perform general labor tasks as required. Maintain a solid attendance record and adhere to safety protocols. Essential Skills Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. Comfortable lifting 50lbs. High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings. Willingness to ask questions when unsure. Adaptable to cross-training in multiple areas. Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice to have skills include experience with tape measure, construction, and hands-on manufacturing. Ability to speak English, whether as a primary or secondary language. 1 year of manufacturing experience is required. Why Work Here? Benefit package includes medical, vision, and dental. Prepare for busy seasons with 50-hour work weeks and a requirement to work two Saturdays a month. The manufacturing environment operates across three facilities, which are not temperature-controlled. The team size averages around 100 employees per facility. Dress code requires work-appropriate shirts, jeans or shorts, and mandatory steel-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwalk, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50
