JOB SUMMARY
The General Production Associate I will help assemble products and monitor manufacturing equipment for product defects. This person will work closely with other production workers to check product quality and complete assembly tasks by set deadlines. They will also be responsible for using warehouse equipment like forklifts to organize and retrieve products ahead of shipments.
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Assembles products in accordance with set specifications and quantities. Operates machinery within assembly process. Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Performs periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. Paints parts either by wet paint or powder coat Observes and follows company safety rules and regulations. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS HS
Diploma/GED. Forklift experience helpful but not required.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS
Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, walk, and reach as well as stand for minimum of 8 hours daily/as scheduled. Must be able to lift 20-70 lbs on and off at various times throughout the shift. Capable of performing duties without direct supervision. Able to work as part of a team. Ideal candidates must be a self-starter, safety minded, and highly motivated with mechanical knowledge and skill. Pre-employment background and drug screening required.
