As a Lead Shift Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering at Micron, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient fab operations on shift. Emphasizing collaboration, safety, and innovation, you will lead and guide shift teams, coordinate priorities across engineering, facilities and operations and serve as a primary escalation point for fab-level events.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead , develop, and coach high performing shift teams, coordinating priorities across engineering, facilities, and operations partners
  • Coordinate new Fab automation improvements and communicate with users
  • Ensure all protocols and procedures are followed and updated in a timely manner
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing performance by completing required safety training and driving a safety culture
  • Communicate Fab safety events, perform audits, and submit good catches on safety issues
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Statistics or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with detailed understanding of semiconductor production processes and Fab flow
  • Minimum 3 years proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high performing teams and driving projects to successful outcomes
  • Advanced knowledge of MES, capacity planning, floor scheduling, and line management systems
  • Ability to work on 3-4 day rotating shifts including rotation from days and nights
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in collecting and interpreting data to make sound decisions
  • Strong partnering and team-building skills, conflict management, negotiation skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience in defining and implementing training and development initiatives
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint) Be part of a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve flawless results!
