Job Description

Company Overview:
Founded in 1963, Marcy Laboratories is a contract manufacturer of fine fragrance and home fragrance products with locations in West Chicago and Glendale Heights, IL.
Job Overview:
Oversee the work on a filling production line(s) and/or group of production line employees, identify unsafe conditions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Report to Shift Supervisor Rotate line on a weekly basis. Load boxes/bottles on and off the Line and skids. Ability to lift up to 50lb boxes on and off the line. Ability to plastic wrap pallets when needed. Ability to learn and perform each line function to train others. Communicate with office personnel. Verify the correct number of personnel are on the assigned line(s). (Shift Leader or Supervisor must approve employee changes) Communicate with warehouse supervisor and make sure line has all supplies needed to run. Perform quality checks such as Lot Codes, Labels and Fill Volume, compare to sample from Lab. Keep line down time to a minimum, change over & start times are efficient. Keep the production and surrounding area clean and follow housekeeping procedures. Perform Line Clearance Check at the end of each production run. Maintain line speeds set by Dir of Manufacturing and VP of Operations. Manage their line Vorne Production Monitoring Unit. Position Requirements /
Qualifications:
Experience working on a fragrance filling line, or prior Line Lead experience in another manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate and work well with co-workers. Strong Leadership skills Preferred Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
