Equipment Operation and Troubleshooting:

Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and shut down extrusion and related production equipment, ranging from basic to advanced technologies.

Quality and Packaging:

Inspect finished products, resolve or escalate quality concerns, and complete packaging, labeling, and cartoning with accuracy.

Process Improvement:

Partner with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance, solve operational issues, and support process enhancements.

Continuous Improvement:

Apply 5S and lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve safety, quality, and efficiency. More experienced technicians may also support A3 plans and Kaizen events.

Documentation and Safety:

Complete work orders and production records, contribute to procedures or training materials as appropriate, and follow all safety, environmental, quality, and operating requirements.

What You Will Bring Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

At least one year of experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehouse operations, maintenance, or a similar environment required. Candidates with five or more years of related manufacturing experience may be considered for advanced technical opportunities.

Technical Aptitude:

Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. Advanced positions may require experience repairing, maintaining, and optimizing machinery, tools, equipment, or assemblies.

Adaptability:

Ability to quickly learn new equipment, processes, technologies, and procedures.

Problem-Solving:

Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve production or equipment issues.

Math and Measurement:

Basic mathematical skills and proficiency using calculators, measuring tools, and production instruments.

Quality Focus:

Commitment to maintaining product quality and following established procedures.

Teamwork:

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams.
