JELD-WEN
is hiring Production Associates for our Rantoul manufacturing facility on 2nd Shift. This role supports window and door production and assembly operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. What You'll Do Gather materials, use hand tools, and operate machinery and equipment to support assembly operations Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand and power tools Assist in production operations as directed to meet daily production goals Retrieve and inspect raw, semi-finished, and finished materials to ensure correct type, quantity, and dimensions Identify and report defective materials or unsafe conditions to leadership or Quality personnel Label finished products according to work instructions and paperwork Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all plant safety policies and OSHA guidelines, including required PPE Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Willingness and ability to learn new tasks Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required Ability to lift and move materials weighing 10-75 lbs Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred:
Previous manufacturing or production experience Carpentry skills are a bonus About
