The associates are assigned to various positions and when qualified can advance to higher paying positions within the production group. Candidates with any assembly, material handling, machine operation, shipping, or inventory control experience can do well in our manufacturing operation. All employees work to achieve Our Brand Promise which is to ship all orders the same day. We are looking for people who are interested in long term employment.
Reports to:
Production Supervisor Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following, based on the area where you are assigned : Packages parts in boxes according to Work Order instructions or Bill of Material. Operates hand tools - screw gun, drill press, cut off saw, measuring tape Labels boxes with Order Number or other identifying information Material handling activities Inventory control - counts, etc. Adheres to all Safety requirements which includes: Wearing PPE, following Safe Work Practices, adhere to Safety Policy and Rules. Identify problems; communicate issues. Assist with training co-workers. Support a respectful workplace. Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management Dependable self-starter with good attendance record Responsible for Quality of Work performed or completed. Knowledge Minimum High School Graduate or GED Proper use of hand tools, measure and read / understand multiple measuring devices. Familiar with Quality requirements - zero defect production. Plus - Lean Manufacturing Experience, Housekeeping 5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement Requirements Ability to perform basic math with the use of calculators and/or by hand. Measure and Read a tape measure, measure and record inches and feet Willingness to adapt readily to changes in schedule, priority or assignment, sometime on a short notice basis. Ability to learn new tasks and grasp new concepts and work without the need for undue direct supervision. Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.Quality:
Detail oriented and assures Quality workmanship in the completion of duties assigned Physical Requirements Stand frequently Sitting seldom Lifting /carrying 50 lbs. for some positions Pulling/pushing occasionally Lift overhead occasionally Fine hand manipulation, hand tools. Power hand manipulation occasionally.Working conditions:
