About the Role Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Technician, where you will play a vital role in building high-quality industrial components. You will utilize a variety of power tools and precision equipment to transform raw materials into finished products, ensuring our output meets the highest standards of excellence. Responsibilities Operate handheld pneumatic and electric power tools, including drills, riveters, and impact wrenches, to assemble complex components. Handle diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, and composites to construct durable finished assemblies. Manage material flow within the production area using overhead cranes, forklifts, and manual carts to maintain workflow efficiency. Conduct rigorous quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure all products adhere to strict specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, proactively identifying potential hazards to support our safety-first culture. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiency. Qualifications Required Skills Proven ability to operate various pneumatic and electric power tools safely. Proficiency in reading and interpreting tape measures and other precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions. Capacity to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to maneuver large assemblies by pushing, pulling, and positioning components accurately. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment. Demonstrated ability to learn new technical processes and retain complex assembly procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
