$19.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Occasional weekends as needed. Position Summary The SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Assistant supports daily production planning, inventory management, and reporting activities to help ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role works closely with Production, Customer Service, Warehouse, and other departments to maintain accurate schedules, inventory records, and production documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning Support Assist in maintaining daily and weekly production schedules. Update production priorities based on customer demand and inventory requirements. Prepare, reconcile, and distribute production paperwork. Verify inventory availability prior to production runs. Track production progress and communicate schedule updates as needed. Maintain and update production planning spreadsheets and scheduling documents. Participate in daily production meetings and provide planning support. Coordinate with Customer Service regarding production schedules and order status. Inventory Management Monitor finished goods inventory levels and identify replenishment needs. Assist with inventory control activities and cycle counts. Enter batch and production information into the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner. Verify that correct materials and lot numbers are used during production. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory audits. Reporting & Documentation Prepare and distribute routine operational reports, including: Hold Material Reports Raw Material Requirements Reports Production Activity Reports Finished Product Reports Additional production and inventory reports as assigned Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Ensure data integrity within planning spreadsheets and ERP systems. General Responsibilities Communicate effectively with Production, Warehouse, Customer Service, and management teams. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning, inventory control, or administrative support preferred. Experience working with ERP systems is a plus. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements & PPE Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear, and any additional PPE required for designated work areas. Must wear and properly use a respirator when entering designated production areas. Must be clean-shaven where required to ensure proper respirator fit.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
