Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Be able to work in a safety-first environment and ensure the safety of other team members, customers, and the community.
- Operate equipment including, but not limited to skid-steers, locomotives, front-end loaders, grain elevator computer software, etc.
- Load and Unload trucks and rail cars on a near daily basis.
- Keep facilities and equipment clean, maintained, and in working order. Keep Superintendent/General Manger informed of any needed changes and/or repairs.
- Work with other team members fluently to complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner.
- Represent AC Grain in a professional manner to the customer and community.
- Employees must be able to work from elevated surfaces and confined spaces when necessary. Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience working in the ag industry is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to submit and pass a background check and drug test.
- Must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to work.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required. Overtime will be heaviest at harvest (Sep-Nov) but will continue throughout the year based on our train schedule.
- Must wear proper PPE as defined by AC Grain
- Must demonstrate the ability to: o Lift up to 50 lbs periodically o Climb ladders and stairwells o Work both indoors and outdoors o Operate with a flexible schedule based on train loading
