Dimensional Inspector 1st and 2nd shift

Join our team as a Dimensional Inspector and make a difference! Our specialty, Employee Owned, magnet manufacturing business is looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves variety but most importantly, is motivated by the desire to make difference. The ideal candidate will have at least1-3 years inspection experience working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Possess an understanding of mechanical drawings and be able to interpret common drawing symbols. Demonstrate a working knowledge of a variety of inspection and measuring instruments including scales, micrometers, dial gauges, squares, levels and calipers. Working knowledge of common databases desired, excel, etc. Possess good communication skills and strong hand/eye coordination. Visual Inspectors for the final acceptance of product must pass a one-time-only color vision test and a 12-month near vision test. . Will be responsible for measuring and recording critical dimensional characteristics of machined and cast metallic products. Responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records of inspection activities and results. Communicate with engineering, manufacturing and sales staff with results of inspection activity as needed. Support Company activities in response to external and internal audits for compliance to Quality Management System certifications as needed.
