Adkev, Inc. is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Mold Setter to retrieve, install, and set up molds and related production equipment. This position performs press changeovers, establishes process parameters, completes material and color changes, verifies product quality, responds to equipment alarms, and supports preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to work overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed. All work must be completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with Adkev, Inc. policies and applicable IATF 16949 and
ISO 14001
requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Retrieve, transport, install, and set molds according to production requirements. Set up molds and related production equipment. Establish and adjust press process parameters during changeovers. Verify product quality at the start of production and make necessary adjustments. Complete press startup, shutdown, and restart procedures. Perform color and material changes at production presses as directed by the Set-Up Coordinator. Properly load, unload, handle, and identify production materials. Enter and maintain accurate production and process information in Mattec. Properly identify and tag the last shot. Perform scheduled in-process mold cleaning. Clean grinders, hoppers, and other assigned equipment daily. Clear grinder obstructions using established lockout/tagout procedures. Clean press equipment filters as production demands require. Properly store molds, materials, tools, and related equipment. Maintain vacuum hoses, grinder blades, circulators, dryers, mold heaters, and other assigned equipment. Learn, monitor, and maintain the Motan Material Handling and Alarm systems. Serve as a first responder for Motan alarms and maintain housekeeping in the Motan area. Respond to press and production-equipment alarms. Train and assist Set-Up Prep employees as assigned. Follow all lockout/tagout, fall-protection, safety-harness, and other established safety procedures. Complete required intermediate safety training and work with zero safety violations. Maintain required equipment, skills, and safety certifications. Support and maintain established 5S housekeeping standards. Work overtime with little or no notice to cover vacations, call-offs, and production needs. Participate in the rotating Saturday preventive-maintenance schedule. Follow all Adkev, Inc. policies, procedures, work instructions, and attendance requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of production presses, dryers, grinders, material-handling systems, and general maintenance tools. Ability to operate radios, the Motan Material Handling system, man lifts, loaders, pre-dryers, and other specialized production equipment. Ability to safely use hand tools and production-related equipment. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, safety requirements, and production documentation. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. Ability to enter and maintain accurate information in production systems. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all organizational levels and with outside business contacts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain positive working relationships. Ability to handle confidential information and maintain ethical business standards. Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to production and equipment issues. Ability to work extended or irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and schedule changes as required. Ability to follow safe work practices, including lockout/tagout and fall-protection procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position regularly requires:
Prolonged standing and walking. Frequent climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working around manufacturing equipment. Lifting and carrying materials or equipment weighing up to 70 pounds. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate tools, controls, machinery, and a handheld radio. Sufficient vision, including corrected vision and color recognition, to inspect products and safely perform assigned duties. Sufficient hearing, with correction if needed, to communicate and recognize equipment alarms and safety warnings. The ability to move safely through offices, warehouses, production areas, and crowded workspaces.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work overtime with little or no notice to meet production needs or cover employee absences. Must participate in a rotating Saturday preventive-maintenance schedule. Must be able to work extended hours, irregular hours, and weekends when required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position primarily works in a manufacturing environment around production presses, molds, material-handling systems, machinery, moving equipment, noise, heat, and other manufacturing-related conditions. Required personal protective equipment must be worn and all safety procedures must be followed. The position may occasionally require interaction with customers, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, or other outside professionals at locations where Adkev, Inc. does not control the working environment.
