Job Description

Description The Production Team Lead provides the leadership and knowledge required to manufacture high quality connectors in the lowest cycle time meeting our Facility Promise Dates to our customers. The team lead will work closely with the production manager, assistant production manager, fellow production team leads, and all team members. The production team lead must promote quality and efficient throughput of all work orders within their respective areas.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM $1000 Sign-On Bonus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the PEI Production department. Achievement of competency level in manufacturing connectors Strong understanding of production workflows, work order processing, and manufacturing work instructions. Comprehensive Understanding of Facility Promise Dates, cycle time, and quality metrics. Working knowledge of
ISO/AS9100
quality system requirements. Understanding of FIFO, Kanban, and 5S principles. Basic knowledge of the ASW system. Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion (with assistance). Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8+ hours of the day. Ability to sit or stand for up to 8+ hours. Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool. Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day.
