Monday-Friday, 1pm-9:30pm Job Description We are looking for a motivated and dependable sanitation production worker to join our team. This versatile role supports both sanitation tasks and production, ensuring smooth production flow and a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and support activities on the packaging line, including product handling, labeling, weighing, sealing, and palletizing. Assist with product changeovers, staging materials, and line clean-up to minimize downtime. Perform routine sanitation tasks, including cleaning equipment, tools, and work areas to meet food safety and quality standards. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and sanitation schedules. Monitor product quality on the line and promptly report any issues to the supervisor. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to training. Maintain accurate documentation of production and sanitation activities. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace. Operate powered industrial vehicles to move materials as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift experience required Prior experience in food manufacturing, production, or sanitation is a plus but not required - training provided. Ability to lift up to 25kg, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperature environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness. Flexibility to move between production and sanitation tasks as needed. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts if required.
