Job Description

Entry Level - Production Operator GOM Currently looking to fill an offshore Entry Level D-C Operator with some production operations experience is helpful, in the oil and gas industry to become part of our team. A successful candidate will be a team oriented, safety minded individual who possess knowledge and experience of aspects of oil and gas operations, and the skills required to maintain a safe and operational facility. Looking for entry level position to break out in production.
Schedule & Location:
Work schedule of 14 & 14 - or longer schedule as assigned -
Offshore GoM Duties:
  • Learn process to operates, monitors, tests, and maintains all process equipment and safety devices from wellhead to point of sale and/or storage
  • Learn process to perform production operations on loop running jackets, providing production support for field locations.
  • Gain experience with servicing satellite locations and the inspection and upkeep of satellite production locations.
  • Learn to Operate, maintains and repairs all facility equipment on a daily basis including but not limited to: material transfers incoming and outgoing, good housekeeping, parts and material storage, record/document keeping
  • Monitors the performance of wells and process equipment to maximize recovery of production; Learn how to calculate well rates, complete well tests, and report production data
  • Responsible for all BSEE and USCG testing at required intervals. Participate in and/or conduct weekly/monthly safety meetings, emergency evacuation/abandon platform drills, facility orientations, etc
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 0-1 years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Experience (ENTRY LEVEL)
  • Ability to travel by helicopter or boat
Preferred:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
