Job Description
Let's make Ice Cream! Curious about the transformation process of milk to ice cream? Come find out and work in our plant, where you'll learn all about mix, variegate, pasteurization and more! Our Production Team is the key ingredient in ensuring that established processes are followed to guarantee that our customers receive the highest quality ice cream and frozen desserts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized prior to the start of production.
- Set up and operate production related equipment as assigned.
- Ensure that formulas and procedures are followed correctly in assigned area.
- Cross-train among plant departments in different production roles.
- Complete production-related documentation as required.
- Clean and sanitize equipment according to quality standards.
- Maintain storage of ingredients in an orderly and sanitary condition.
- Additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous work in manufacturing/production environment preferred. Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to prepare routine production related paperwork.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to forklifts, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks and hand-trucks.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be detailed oriented and able to maintain focus on quality of finished products.
- Must work well with limited supervision and be self-motivated.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Physical Demands
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to see, hear and talk.
Vision requirements include:
close, distance, color and peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.- Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, reach above head and lift from ground.
- Frequently required to climb or balance, push, steer, and manipulate small and large objects.

- Limited exposure to extreme cold (negative 20°) in a freezer environment.
- Exposure to icy/wet floor conditions.
