Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Semiconductor Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting semiconductor devices and electro-mechanical components. Your expertise will ensure the precision and quality of our semiconductor products, supporting cutting-edge technology development. Duties Assemble semiconductor devices using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components, following detailed blueprints and schematics Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately build electrical panels and electro-mechanical assemblies Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and IPC 610 standards to perform precise electronic assembly and surface mount soldering Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper operation of manufacturing equipment Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues in real-time Build electrical wiring harnesses, panels, and mechanical assemblies according to engineering specifications Follow blueprint specifications meticulously for assembly processes while maintaining quality standards in accordance with IPC 610 guidelines Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including machining tasks if required, to support continuous manufacturing operations Assist in identifying root causes during engineering troubleshooting efforts related to electro-mechanical components or system failures Experience Proven experience working in electronics assembly or semiconductor manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly techniques and surface mount technology (SMT) processes Familiarity with electrical schematic reading, interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Hands-on experience with soldering techniques, including through-hole and surface mount soldering in compliance with IPC 610 standards Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and test equipment such as ohmmeters confidently Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting is a plus Knowledge of electro-mechanical components, electrical wiring practices, and mechanical assembly procedures Prior exposure to manufacturing environments emphasizing quality control and engineering troubleshooting skills Join us as a Semiconductor Technician if you're eager to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment where innovation drives success.
