Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Quality Specialist, you will drive excellence in production standards by overseeing rigorous testing protocols and process optimization. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our wire and cable products meet stringent industry benchmarks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the facility. Responsibilities Design and implement robust quality management systems to ensure consistent product excellence and operational efficiency. Oversee compliance documentation for UL, ETL, and CSA standards to maintain regulatory integrity. Analyze process capability data and statistical trends to proactively identify areas for performance enhancement. Lead cross-functional teams in executing corrective actions and investigating customer-reported product issues. Manage the qualification and calibration of inspection and measurement equipment to ensure precise data collection. Coordinate with external suppliers to conduct audits and resolve material quality concerns. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives that streamline manufacturing workflows and reduce waste. Serve as an internal auditor to uphold the standards of the Quality Management System. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field. 3+ years of professional experience within a manufacturing quality or engineering capacity. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply industry-specific quality standards. Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical process control and data-driven problem solving. Preferred Skills Lean or Six Sigma certification. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) designation. Prior experience in wire, cable, or metallurgy-related manufacturing environments. Background in conducting formal quality system audits.
